We join our brothers and sisters at the Tioga County Sheriff’s Office in mourning the unexpected loss of Investigator Bunce.

Our hearts are with the Bunce family, his fellow deputies, and all who had the honor of serving alongside him. The loss of one of our own is felt deeply across the entire law enforcement community.

We stand together in support, in grief, and in gratitude for Investigator Bunce’s service, dedication, and the impact he made on those around him. While we mourn this tremendous loss, we also celebrate the memories, the commitment, and the legacy he leaves behind.

Rest easy, Investigator Bunce. Your service and sacrifice will never be forgotten. 💙

We had a great time hosting Mr. Westcott and his students at the Tioga County Sheriff’s Office!

It was a pleasure showing the group behind the scenes of our operations and answering their questions. Engaging with the next generation is one of the best parts of our job, and we were truly impressed by their curiosity and interest in law enforcement.

Thank you, Mr. Westcott, for brining them by! We’re already looking forward to meeting more students and continuing to build strong connections with our community’s youth.

We had an awesome morning at the Tioga County Sheriff's Department yesterday! Thank you to Officer Watkins for facilitating this experience, Sgt. Spangenburg for leading the tour and answering questions and Sgt. Allen for sharing his expertise.

The Sheriff’s Office staff participated in No Shave November by making a personal monetary donation. The TCLEA (Tioga County Law Enforcement Association) and the TCCA (Tioga County Corrections Association) matched the money raised by our members and all donations totaled $4,450. The money raised was provided to an amazing young man and his family. It was a pleasure and honor to meet Luke and his mother Kelsie today. Luke is a three-year-old boy in our community that is battling cancer. Luke is a tough young man that put smiles on all our faces. Luke embodies all that is good in this world and is an inspiration to us all. If you wish to help this family please consider visiting their gofundme page to make a monetary donation.
