THAT AND MORE THIS CTSO WEEK FRIDAY!
A massive day for CTSO Week at the School District of Owen-Withee, with Blue and Gold as the dress up, Go Fish at lunch, the CTSO Cup Challenge, and tonight's second Cheese Curd Giveaway.
Tyli, Carter, Annabelle, and Mr. Eichstadt took their blue and gold spirit to the next level to earn the final Kwik Trip Snack Pack, sponsored by the Owen-Withee FFA Alumni & Supporters.
In Go Fish, competitors had to sort Goldfish Crackers by color with only a straw. Lester and Tegan moved their snacks just faster than David and Sam.
Jason Zaleski of Zaleski Sports was our Keynote, live from Florida! He spoke of his entrepreneurial success and passion about local sports. Zaleski Sports is the country's largest prep sports network. Thanks for joining us!
In the Last Chance Qualifier Game, Horse Derby, Hailly and Kierah were able to guide their animals to a sliding success.
The musical chair scavenger hunt was crazy good and Dan picked up the victory in the 80 person music scramble.
State FFA Vice President Parker Smith joined us via satellite to tell us why FFA is more than just for the country kids and what lifelong skills taking an Ag Class might serve you someday.
Karley was able to focus on only the wrong color to touch in Don't Touch That Color.
In what was the highlight of the day, given all the smiling faces with crazy wigs, the 7th graders went 1-2-3 individually in Wig Sn**ch. James picked up the stylish dub over Amaryllis and Dale.
The $50 CTSO Championships were next on the line as lunch winners and the last chance qualifiers squared off in Don't Ring the Bell. Hailly, the middle school last chance qualifier prevailed over other middle schoolers and Gavin locked in for the HS Title. Congrats to both!
Jonah Bratcher, State FBLA Officer from Loyal was on hand all day, even playing some of the games. He spoke about the advantages of getting involved in school and how the CTSO experiences help your future. Thanks for joining us, Jonah!
And in Tug-of-War, each matchup was very close, with some even going back and forth. But in the finals, it was the Juniors vs. Staff. With a win, the Juniors would clinch the Cup; however, the staff held their ground and pulled the victory, giving the CTSO Cup, Pizza Hut Lunch, and Kwik Trip Breakfast to the Class of 2026!
It is the Senior class' second straight CTSO Cup Championship and third overall. They might not be the largest class, but they have the skills to win CTSO Cup games!
Finally, after a few hours to clean up, CTSO members were on hand to pass out over 275 cups of cheese curds to sports fans at The Nest tonight during halftime of the boys basketball game!
A fantastic job by all involved this week. Thanks again to the FFA Alumni, Booster Club, Kwik Trip, Zaleski Sports, Parker Smith, Jonah Bratcher, and Nasonville Dairy for helping make CTSO Week 2026 a memorable one.
CTSO Officers will be meeting already over the weekend and next week to debrief and make recommendations for CTSO Week 2027!
