Jennifer Poole, a first-generation Daviess County farmer who helps operate a diverse family farm while advocating for agriculture in the community, has been named the 2026 Kentucky Farm Bureau Farm Woman of the Year.

October 19th is National Kentucky Day! The Daviess County Conservation District is proud to be one of 121 Conservation Districts in Kentucky🥳.

Kentucky ranks 7th in the country for number of farms🚜. 48% of our state is agricultural land🐖. 91% of farms in Kentucky are family/individually owned. The top agricultural products in Kentucky are corn🌽, meat chickens🐔, and soybeans. Daviess County ranks 2nd in top cropland counties in Kentucky.

❕The lime spreader can be rented out through Daviess County High School FFA for $100/day. Contact Craig Howard.

❗️The no till drill can be rented out through Apollo High School FFA for $10/ac or $8/ac if you are a FFA Alumni Association Member. Contact Aaron Tucker.
