💡We want to thank everyone who came to our Local Working Group Meeting yesterday morning. Thank you to the concerned land owners, producers, and environmentalists for your invaluable contributions.
🔎 From our meeting, we gathered that the major concerns in the Ohio Valley Work Unit are soil erosion, the banks of both Rough River and Panther Creek, the program ranking system, and program contract lengths and funding capacities. We also discussed zone applications, technical assistance, drainage committees, watershed districts, flooding, differences among the counties of the Ohio Valley Work Unit, and cover crops.
