Good afternoon, everyone.
I'm going to be very blunt here. Time is running out before the November election. We have all been feeling the frustration and wishing for real change in leadership, from national all the way down to local. Wishful thinking does not win elections, though. Action does. We do not need to agree on 100% of the issues to recognize that we need real change. We are the big tent party, and there is a seat for everyone who wants a better future for all.
As of today, we are exactly 100 days out from the November election. That means the work we do right now determines what our future looks like. If we want to build a community that reflects our values, flip seats, and bring fresh, more progressive perspectives to government, it starts here on a local level.
For this to happen, we need your involvement. It doesn't have to be a huge commitment; we are more than happy to meet you where you're at. Every helping hand makes a difference.
