It has been brought to our attention that June renewal cards are running late. You can still pay without your notice by calling or coming into the office. Please remember to bring your insurance card, or have a copy on your phone. You may also renew online at drive.ky.gov with your plate and title number.

Individuals have reported receiving text messages claiming to be from KYTC that demand traffic ticket or tolling payments and include a link.

Employee Spotlight: Kelli Shively 🗳️

Meet Kelli Shively, Elections Supervisor with the Daviess County Clerks Office.

In her role, Kelli conducts all public elections in Daviess County in accordance with Kentucky Revised Statutes, registers voters, trains election workers for all elections, and maintains inventory of all election equipment. In many ways, she helps orchestrate the process for more than 75,000 voters across the county.

Kelli is also known as the office’s “fun coordinator,” bringing energy and positivity to the workplace through office activities, food days and holiday celebrations that help keep morale high year-round.

“Every office needs a Kelli working for them,” said Daviess County Clerk Lesley McCarty. “She is a cheerleader for her co-workers, brings a smile to everyone who encounters her, and her quiet leadership and eye for detail help set the bar high for excellence in this office. The office is a much better place because she’s in it.”

Kelli said what she enjoys most about her job is the sense of purpose that comes with every election.

“I love my job because every election brings a sense of purpose and accomplishment,” Shively said. “There’s something incredibly rewarding about the feeling after a successful election — seeing all the hard work, long hours and teamwork come together to help make the process run smoothly. I also love being able to teach, help others and continue learning new things along the way. Having the opportunity to assist people and make a difference in the community is especially meaningful to me, and I’m fortunate to work alongside coworkers who make even the busiest days enjoyable.”
