The American Legion Owensboro, Ky celebrated the Owensboro Post 9 Bombers and their incredible six year State Championship run!

It was an absolute pleasure and honor to celebrate this milestone with such an amazing group of young men.

At 54, I know my limitations! So instead of running the Rugged Race, I volunteered to help. Little did I know, I was assigned the three up and over walls. After about the 50th runner I helped/boosted over I started thinking that maybe running it was the better option 😁. In all seriousness though, what a great event! MentorKids Kentucky is fantastic!!! They continue to impact youth and families in our community on a daily basis!! So glad to have been a small part today.

Between dockets I had the good fortune of attending Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Owensboro Museum of Hope. I continue to be amazed by the work they do, including a collaboration with Audubon Area Community Services, Inc. to prepare and donate 2000 food boxes that will be distributed to families in need. A special thanks to all who participated to make this possible! Also, I want to give a shoutout to my wife who assisted in loading all the boxes while I was back on the bench.

It was a privilege to attend the Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Owensboro “A Dress for Less Gala” last night. The work they do is truly remarkable and stretches across 32 counties in the Commonwealth. Being Catholic myself, I share the need to give back to those less fortunate. I am a proud supporter of Catholic Charities and extremely thankful for their tireless efforts in providing hope to families in need 🙏♥️

Terrific evening in support of Dream Riders of Kentucky, Inc. For those who don’t know, this non-profit organization offers equine therapy for children and adults with physical, cognitive and developmental disabilities. They continue to do amazing work for many members of our community, including a family member of my wife. A heartfelt thanks to the staff, board, and supporters!
