Mrs. Frederick’s class kicked off the day in the sweetest way possible by baking fresh muffins this morning!
The hallway smelled incredible, and these amazing student bakers did an absolute knockout job. Nothing beats hands-on learning you can actually eat! Whisking, baking, and enjoying the tasty results!

They proved their Gibson Southern knowledge by nailing this week’s question: “Name a staff member who has a student at Gibson Southern.”

Caller #7 buzzed in fast, snagged the victory, and officially earned ultimate bragging rights along with the traveling trophy for the week! 🏆✨

Huge thanks to our amazing staff for donating their extra coffee mugs—our students are already putting them to great use!

This morning, Mrs. Kuester's FACS class whipped up delicious, custom Mug Omelets. It was a quick, easy, and fun way to practice kitchen skills and learn how to make a fast, protein-packed breakfast.

We love seeing our school community come together to support hands-on learning. Check out these future chefs at work!

Mass in motion! Mrs. Garrison’s class took their energy experiments to the next level today by testing how mass affects energy.

Our young scientists experimented with different weights and sizes to see firsthand how adding mass changes the speed and impact of an object in motion. Safe to say, the results were eye-opening!

More Mass: Bigger push, more force, and a whole lot of energy!

The Big Takeaway: The heavier the object, the more kinetic energy it carries when it moves.

Hands-on physics is making a huge impact in our classroom! Ask your student tonight which tested object had the biggest impact and why!

From holding objects at the ready to watching them zoom into motion, our young scientists had a blast seeing physics come to life.
