*Clermont County — Extension in Action*

In Clermont County, nearly 800 youth were enrolled in 4-H last year.

This informal education program instills youth with the skills they need to lead for a lifetime and is available in all of Ohio's 88 counties.

4-H inspires curiosity, builds lifelong skills, fuels adventure, and grows leaders through fun, hands-on activities, that include clubs, projects (including evaluation days), community service, and camps.

The Clermont County Junior Fair Board is proud to team up with Farm Credit Mid-America and Rural 1st once again for 2026 Stock the Trailer food drive!

We’re collecting non-perishable food items and monetary donations to support our local food pantry.

🐰📣 Market Rabbit Tattooing Reminder! 📣🐰

All Market Rabbit exhibitors—don’t forget this important date!
📅 When: Saturday, June 27
⏰ Time: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
📍 Where: Rabbit & Poultry Barn, Clermont County Fairgrounds
✅ Who: Anyone showing a Market Rabbit (Meat Pen or Single Fryer)

Per Junior Fair Rules, all market rabbits must be tattooed to be eligible to show. Please note:

Exhibitors must be present at tattoo day, weigh-in, judging, and the sale of meat pens.
Each exhibitor may bring up to 5 rabbits for tattooing.
These 5 rabbits will be used for your Meat Pen and/or Single Fryer projects.

Help your teen become a safer, more confident driver with FREE advanced driver training at Ford Driving Skills for Life.

📍 Sharonville Transmission Plant, Cincinnati

In one fun, half-day session with professional driving instructors, teens with a permit or license will learn critical skills including:

✅ Hazard recognition
✅ Speed management
✅ The dangers of distracted and impaired driving

In observance of Memorial Day, our office will be closed on Monday, May 25.

This day is a time to honor and remember the brave individuals who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. 🇺🇸

We will resume normal business hours on the following business day. Thank you for your understanding, and we wish everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day.

Clermont County Safe Communities kicked off the annual Click It or Ticket campaign on May 12 in partnership with the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Clermont County Sheriff’s Office, Union Township Police Department, Miami Township Police Department, 4-H CARTEENS and Chick-fil-A!

During the event, patrons were encouraged to sign a pledge banner committing to always wear their seat belt. Law enforcement officers rewarded customers who were buckled up with Chick-fil-A coupons, and a Click It or Ticket banner was proudly displayed throughout the event.

Thanks to the support of our partners and community members, we were able to make more than 500 contacts during the kickoff event!

As a reminder, the Click It or Ticket enforcement period runs from May 18–31. Law enforcement agencies across Ohio will be actively enforcing seat belt laws to help keep motorists safe.

Remember: Seat belts save lives. Buckle up every trip, every time.
