As Baltimore prepares to welcome ships from around the world for Sail 250, local veterans are taking part in the historic celebration.

Today at the Pikesville Armory, members of the Jewish War Veterans joined veteran-owned Fiamme del Forno to spotlight the many ways veterans continue to serve their communities through leadership, advocacy, and entrepreneurship.

Founded by a veteran and military family, Fiamme del Forno has grown into a network supporting fellow veteran entrepreneurs across multiple states. Visitors to Sail250® Maryland & Airshow Baltimore can also enjoy Fiamme del Forno's food trucks in the Inner Harbor during the event.

Thank you to KeSean Johnson, Charley Jay, and the Fiamme del Forno team for sharing this meaningful story of service, leadership, and veteran entrepreneurship. 🇺🇸

Today, we celebrate and recognize the U.S. Navy Corpsmen who have stood alongside our for 128 years.

Since June 16, 1898, Navy Corpsmen have embodied the spirit of . From naval hospitals to the battlefield, they remain always faithful, treating our wounded and keeping Marines in the fight.

To the in our ranks, we thank you for your unwavering dedication to duty and to our Marines.

Today, June 14, marks the 251st Birthday of the United States Army!

Since its founding in 1775, the U.S. Army has stood as a shield for freedom, protecting our nation and upholding our highest ideals. From the battlefields of the Revolution to modern missions across the globe, generations of soldiers have answered the call with unmatched bravery, dedication, and sacrifice.

Here at Maryland Free State Post 167 of the Jewish War Veterans of the USA, we proudly salute our brothers and sisters in arms. We take this day to honor the rich history of the Army, including the profound contributions of the countless Jewish servicemen and servicewomen who have worn the uniform with pride and distinction throughout American history.

To all soldiers, past and present: Thank you for your courage, your loyalty, and your unwavering service to our country.

🎨 Art is Alive in Pikesville is happening RIGHT NOW! 🎨

Come out to the **Maryland State Police Museum and Grounds** (38 E. Sudbrook Ln) and stop by the JWV Post 167 table! We are having an incredible day celebrating local creators (in the museum), family fun, and community spirit. Thanks go to Pikesville Improvement Corporation for this great celebration.

* 🕒 **We’re here until closing at 4:00 PM!** There is still plenty of time to head over, grab some great food, and say hello.

* 🎵 **Live Music:** You do not want to miss the incredible talent on stage today. Come out and enjoy some truly great music by **Seth Kibel and the Kleztet**!

Congratulations to our new member Emma who joined as a result of our tabling. She's a Marine who served in the '80s. Also, David Ginsburg, from the Pikesville Armory, a partner of ours, became a member today because he understands our vital mission in supporting all veterans.

🎨 What an incredible night supporting our local veteran artists at the Maryland State Police Museum for the opening of "Art is Alive in Pikesville" hosted by Pikesville Improvement Corporation!

​The excitement doesn’t stop tonight, though. This coming Sunday, June 7th, Maryland Free State Post 167 of the Jewish War Veterans of the U.S.A. is heading out to the Art is Alive in Pikesville Festival!

​⛺ We will have our official Post tent set up from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Please stop by, say hello, grab some information, and see how we’re working to support local veterans right here in our community.
