Owingsville Fire Department provides fire and first responder services to the City of Owingsville and surrounding jurisdiction. It is a strictly volunteer service, with men and women dedicated to protecting life and property in the community. Owingsville Fire Department has a county-wide mutual aid agreement with the other fire departments of Bath County, providing extended protection to all communities.

Following the recent loss of a dedicated firefighter, a fundraiser has been established to assist the family with funeral expenses and outstanding medical bills during this challenging period.

Kentucky firefighter Sam Fuller, Unit 935, had been an active member of the department for a little over a year. Most recently, he met the love of his life and married his wife. Just weeks after their wedding, Sam was diagnosed with stomach cancer. Tragically, doctors informed him that there were no
