🚨πŸ”₯ HIGH FIRE DANGER TODAY πŸ”₯🚨

The Preston Fire Department is urging everyone to use extreme caution today due to elevated fire conditions across our area.

🌬️ Winds: Southwest 10–15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph
πŸ’§ Humidity: Very low (10–20%)
🌾 Fuels: Dry vegetationβ€”nearly 100% cured

⚠️ What This Means:
These conditions create near-critical fire weather. Any fire can spread rapidly and become uncontrollable in a short amount of time.

🚫 Please Avoid:
β€’ Outdoor burning
β€’ Burning trash or debris
β€’ Discarding ci******es outdoors
β€’ Any activity that could spark a fire

βœ… Stay Safe:
β€’ Keep a water source nearby if working outdoors
β€’ Report any signs of smoke or fire immediately
β€’ Stay alert and help protect our community

Let’s all do our part to prevent wildfires today. Stay safe, Preston County!
