🚨🔥 HIGH FIRE DANGER TODAY 🔥🚨

The Preston Fire Department is urging everyone to use extreme caution today due to elevated fire conditions across our area.

🌬️ Winds: Southwest 10–15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph
💧 Humidity: Very low (10–20%)
🌾 Fuels: Dry vegetation—nearly 100% cured

⚠️ What This Means:
These conditions create near-critical fire weather. Any fire can spread rapidly and become uncontrollable in a short amount of time.

🚫 Please Avoid:
• Outdoor burning
• Burning trash or debris
• Discarding ci******es outdoors
• Any activity that could spark a fire

✅ Stay Safe:
• Keep a water source nearby if working outdoors
• Report any signs of smoke or fire immediately
• Stay alert and help protect our community
