Oxford Community Mausoleum is owned by Oak Grove Township in Benton County, Indiana, and has a unique location on the grounds of the independently owned Oxford West Cemetery. Built in 1908 as the first Community Mausoleum in Indiana, it's on the National Register of Historic Places and its historical significance also landed it on the 10 Most Endangered Buildings list Indiana Landmarks in 2022. Fundraising is now underway for Phase I, which will repair the roof and complete tuckpointing so the exterior is sound. Donations to support this effort can be made by check to Oak Grove Township, Indiana at PO Box 412, Oxford, Indiana 47971, or an online donation at the Benton Community Foundation website (select "Other" under Fund Name and type "Oxford Mausoleum" under Fund Name-Other. All help is much appreciated!
