We are excited about everything October has in store and look forward to connecting with our community at these upcoming events!

📅 October 10 – Faith & Blue Event at Asbury Park
We are excited to partner with our local churches and community members for an evening of fellowship, connection, and fun.

🎬 October 16 – First-Ever Movie in the Park at Asbury Park
Bring your family and friends for a fun-filled evening under the stars. We are looking forward to a great night with our community!

🎃 October 24 – Annual Trunk-or-Treat across from City Hall
This community favorite is always a wonderful opportunity to interact with local children and families while enjoying a safe and festive Halloween celebration.

The Oxford Police Department will partner with Emory College in the 911 Memorial Stair Climb as we draw closer to the September 11 remembrance. This event will be held on the campus here in Oxford. This is a way we can honor the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice and those who answered the call without hesitation. We remember the lives lost, the families who continue to carry their memories, and the enduring spirit of service that emerged from tragedy. We would love to see you "Join the Climb" and/or Volunteer.

The Oxford Police Department was proud to hand out backpacks filled with school supplies to some of our local students as they prepare to head back to school.

Our city may be small in size, but when it comes to the hearts of our residents, there is nothing small about Oxford. We are proud to serve and represent such a caring and supportive community. We wish all of our students a safe, successful, and exciting school year!

The Oxford Police Department is proud to welcome Officer Andrea Preziosi to our agency.

Andrea joins us after an outstanding 30-year career with the DeKalb County Police Department. Throughout her distinguished service, she has gained extensive training, knowledge, and experience that will be a tremendous asset to our department and the City of Oxford.

Her career includes service in Criminal Investigations as a Detective, Mental Health and Wellness Investigations, and Community Policing. These diverse experiences have equipped her with a wealth of expertise and a deep commitment to serving and supporting the communities she protects.

We are confident that Andrea will be a valuable addition to our team and a positive presence within our community. Please join us in extending a warm Oxford welcome to Officer Preziosi. We know our residents will make her feel right at home, and we look forward to the many contributions she will bring to our department and the citizens of Oxford.
