Friday fireworks moved to Sunday!
Here's the scoop -- Tonight's fireworks display has been postponed until Sunday (start time between 9:30 and 10 p.m.) due to the inclement weather. The carnival will remain open until 10 p.m. tonight and the live music will continue until 10 p.m., weather permitting. Please note, some rides are not running because of the weather. The carnival will be open 1 to 11 p.m. on Sunday. Saturday's festivities (carnival, classic car show, live music and fireworks) will proceed as scheduled. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

This is a great opportunity to get rid of the hazardous waste that you have in the basement, garage, or your shed. Safely getting rid of these hazardous products makes your home and our community a little bit safer.

NoHaz is coming to Oxford June 13!
The second NoHaz collection of 2026 will take place on Saturday, June 13 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Oxford Middle School (1420 Lakeville Rd.). A registration link is available at NoHaz.com.

REMEMBER: NoHaz collection events are FREE for residents of Oxford Township and Oxford Village. That's right, there's NO fee to dispose of your household hazardous waste if you live in Oxford. Note: Your community of residence is defined by where you pay property taxes, not necessarily what is listed on your driver's license.

These collection events are for household hazardous waste only. No commercial, contractor, business or institution waste will be accepted. For a detailed list of accepted materials, please visit NoHaz.com.

As a result of the ongoing declared water state of emergency, we are not allowing for any open burning or bonfires. This ban will remain in place through May 21st. The fire ban will be re-evaluated at that time.
