Paints, solvents, adhesives, fertilizers, and pesticides contain chemicals that can wash into storm drains during rainstorms, where they flow untreated to nearby rivers, streams, lakes, and wetlands.

Before starting your next project:
🎨 Store paints, solvents, and other chemicals safely.
🌱 Apply fertilizers and pesticides only as directed—more is not better.
🌧️ Avoid applying lawn chemicals when rain is in the forecast.
