Creedmoor Police Department Mourns the Loss of Emma Wallace

The Creedmoor Police Department is mourning the tragic loss of Emma Wallace, a student who was killed in a vehicle collision this morning on U.S. Highway 15.

Emma was the daughter of Creedmoor School Resource Officer Corporal Tony Wallace. She was a valued member of the South Granville High School community and participated in both the volleyball and softball teams.

Emma’s loss is being deeply felt by her classmates, teammates, coaches, teachers, school staff, and the many people whose lives she touched. Her presence in the school community will be remembered by those who knew and loved her.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the Wallace family, Emma’s friends and teammates, and everyone in our community who is grieving this devastating loss,” Chief Troy Wheless said. “We are thankful for all the support that we have received from our community.”

A special thank you to the Granville County Sheriff’s Office, the Vance County Sheriff’s Office, Granville County EMS, Granville County 911, the Providence Volunteer Fire Department and the North Carolina State Highway Patrol who is investigating this incident.
