I’d like to take a moment to express empathy for those affected by the horrific fire in downtown Oxford. It’s by the Grace of God and the training and professionalism of all who reacted quickly that no human life was lost. The pictures and sights are just gut wrenching to see. Our prayers are with the family displaced and the businesses affected. If this office can be of any aid please reach out.

National media today reported that a 64 year old male from Chambersburg, PA, a Pennsylvania State Constable is facing 600+ counts of human trafficking and related offenses.

I want to take a moment to make it clear this office and the entire professional constabulary of Pennsylvania do not have values that are consistent with these allegations. Furthermore, this office nor any person associated with this office have ties in any manner to this constable.

By all accounts it would appear this individual was elected by a minimum of votes in a write-in campaign in 2021 and since that time has never received certification as a constable by the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD). While he is apparently a constable in fact, he does not appear to be what most would consider an active or professional constable and is unclear if he has ever performed a single official duty.

Human trafficking is among the most atrocious acts one human being can do to another. Should these allegations be found to have merit in the criminal courts in the way of a conviction, it is this offices prayer that the most severe punishment allowed by law be handed down.

From all affiliated with this office and all professional constables, the victims in the situation and their families are in our prayers as they recover from their traumas and as this case proceeds.

This individual enjoys a legal presumption of innocence until such time his guilt is established under the law and as such his identity is not provided herein.
