LAFAYETTE COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI — On August 3, 2026, investigators with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office were contacted by an individual who reported that they had ordered and paid for multiple pieces of furniture from Sunny Baddour, 38, of Oxford, Mississippi, owner of Hazel Bleu Designs.

The complainant reported paying Baddour more than $8,500 for furniture during February and March 2026. According to the complainant, the furniture was never received, and Baddour subsequently ceased communication with the complainant.

A Lafayette County Justice Court Judge set Baddour’s bond at $20,000.
