Looking for a responsible way to dispose of household items that can’t go in your regular recycling bin? Butler County Recycling and Solid Waste District has several special recycling programs available to Butler County residents through October.

Programs include:
• Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off
• Computer & TV Drop-Off
• Tire Recycling Event

📌 Please note: These programs are for Butler County residents only, and proof of residency is required.

A special flag for a special visit.

Oxford will soon have the honor of welcoming delegates from our sister city of Dubno, Ukraine — and we're creating a commemorative flag to mark the occasion.

Earlier in the design process, we asked you what makes Oxford Oxford. Your answers — community, our brick streets, education and innovation, history, nature, and the welcoming character of our small town — helped inspire two final designs.

Now we need your help choosing one!

Moving into Oxford? Make sure your POD is in the right place!

As Miami University students return and move-in gets underway, here's an important reminder:

✅ PODS and portable storage containers may be placed on private property.
❌ They may NOT be placed on City streets.

PODS placed in the roadway can create serious traffic safety concerns, including blocked sight lines and visibility issues for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians.

PODS that are placed illegally in the street also risk being impounded.

Help us keep Oxford’s streets safe during a busy move-in season — keep PODS and storage containers on private property.

The City of Oxford is partnering with American Ramp Company to gather community feedback that will help shape the future design of the Oxford Skatepark. This short survey asks about your experience level, favorite features, and what you'd like to see included in a future park. Community input is a key part of creating a space that is fun, welcoming, and built to serve riders of all ages and abilities.
