Throughout September, OSD staff had the opportunity to participate in a districtwide walking challenge by tracking their miles! 👟⚡️ A big thank you to our Health and Wellness department for organizing and supporting this districtwide walking challenge!

Congratulations to Mrs. Maxwell at DDES for logging the most individual miles and to the OHS CTE Department for earning the top school/department honor based on average miles per staff member!! 🎉💙💛 (Note: The school/department winners were determined by dividing total miles logged by the total number of staff members at each location.)

The "Bradley Roberson Brag Box" was handed out at Della Davidson this week! 🟦🟨
This week, we recognized Mr. Hughes, Assistant Principal at DDES! 3rd grade ELA teachers praised his willingness to jump in and help, his positive attitude, and the meaningful impact he’s making as an assistant principal.
From juggling his many responsibilities to supporting teachers when they need him, Mr. Hughes is making a BIG difference.

💛💙 This week’s Healthy Talk brought together our secondary counselors from across the district! Our counselors walked with Dr. McConnell to share what they’re seeing and hearing from students, what’s working well, and where we can continue to strengthen support for our secondary students.

Due to the chance of storms during the afternoon, we've made the decision to cancel tomorrow's Community Tailgate. We know many of you were looking forward to it, and we appreciate your understanding. Safety comes first!

✅The good news: the weather is expected to clear out before kickoff, and the GAME IS STILL ON! Please don't let the tailgate change your plans. Come out, fill the stands, and help us cheer on our Chargers!
