“What’s puzzling is why Don Davis voted against 100% immediate expensing on new equipment. On Don’s campaign website, he claims to be working to “address rising input costs” for farmers.”

Farmers in Eastern North Carolina have to buy expensive equipment to keep their farms operating. These machines are not luxuries, they are necessities.

If Don Davis was serious about lowering costs for farmers, he would have supported allowing them to immediately expense those investments instead of making it harder for them to grow and stay competitive.

ENC farmers need a representative who will make it easier to invest in their farms, not one who refuses to eliminate unnecessary obstacles.
