The students and staff of Oxford Middle School sure are glad to have our SUPER COOKS back in the kitchen for the 2026–27 school year! 💙💛

These amazing ladies serve up delicious breakfasts and lunches every day—and always with a smile! Their meals are well-seasoned, flavorful, fresh, nutritious, and made with plenty of care. Whether they’re fueling us for the morning or keeping us going through the afternoon, our Super Cooks help make OMS a great place to be!

Excellence is Our Standard at Oxford Middle School.

OMS is proud to recognize Nurse Welty as our first Architect of Excellence.

Nurse Welty recently facilitated emergency medical training for our faculty and staff that was practical, engaging, and immediately applicable. The overwhelmingly positive feedback from staff reflects the impact of her leadership.

“I really liked Nurse Welty’s training on Tuesday. I feel more prepared for emergencies than ever before.”

“The medical training was informative and needed.”

“The CPR/tourniquet training was good. I’ve been in education for 20 years, and this was the first time I’ve ever been trained to use a tourniquet.”

“The training to ensure our staff can respond in stressful situations was super impactful.”

Thank you, Nurse Welty, for investing in our staff and ensuring we are better prepared to protect and care for our students, our colleagues, and one another. Your commitment to excellence has made a lasting impact on Oxford Middle School.

What a wonderful way to kick off the 2026–2027 school year! At Oxford Middle School, our theme this year is:

“Excellence Is Our Standard.”

This beautiful bulletin board is more than just colorful decorations—it serves as a daily reminder to encourage kindness, perseverance, leadership, determination, and believing in yourself. Every quote reflects the positive culture we strive to build for our students and staff each day.

A very special THANK YOU goes to our amazing receptionist, Mrs. Veronica González-Torres, for sharing her creativity and talent to create this outstanding display. Your hard work and dedication help make Oxford Middle School a welcoming place for everyone who walks through our doors.
