Last nights training for OFD consisted of vehicle extrication. Firefighters performed different door-pop methods, seat back removals, dash lifts & rolls, roof removal’s, and different forms of stabilization.

SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Iowa City, Washington, Sigourney, Kalona, Wellman, Lone Tree, University Heights, North English, Riverside, Hills, Richland, Ainsworth, South English, Harper, Martinsburg, Kinross, Hayesville, Cotter, Richmond, and Keota. This includes Interstate 80 in Iowa between mile markers 249 and 253.
