Instructors from our team are proud to be attending the 2026 Impaired Driving and Traffic Safety (IDTS) Conference in Anaheim,CA. IDTS is the largest training conference for Drug Recognition Experts and Traffic Safety Professionals. Attendees from around the world gather to share knowledge about effective and proven approaches for improving road safety, the latest science on alcohol and drug impaired driving enforcement, how technology can be leveraged to make communities safer, and how agencies can use traffic safety education to engage and build trust with their communities. The knowledge obtained from these classes will be brought back and implemented not only to our program, but also; to the agencies represented here by our adjunct Instructors.

We are grateful for this extraordinary opportunity & thank our Instructors for their willingness to take time away from their families & life to improve their skills and abilities, as well as; to benefit the program as a whole!

A special ‘Thank You’ to our MS Attorney General’s Office Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutor (TSRP) Ms.Molly Miller for taking the photo for us!

Last week, 13 Instructor Candidates descended on Hattiesburg to try and earn their SFST Instructor Certification. Through hard work, late nights, and early mornings; I’m proud to say all 13 met the standard and succeeded! These Instructors from all over the state worked extremely hard to achieve this honorable achievement.
Congratulations to Christopher Kimmons & Dillion Cates on earning the honor of becoming a Master Instructor.
We are very thankful to all the Master Instructors and staff who made this week such a success, we truly could not have done it without you!

We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all Americans should have safe roads on Independence Day. Plan for a sober ride:
🧨 Schedule a rideshare
🧨 Call a taxi
🧨 Have a sober friend drive you home
Buzzed Driving Is Drunk Driving.

🇺🇸 This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our nation. Their courage and dedication will never be forgotten.

As families and friends gather this holiday weekend, we ask everyone to help keep our roads safe. Please buckle up, drive distraction-free, and never drive impaired. Whether alcohol, drugs, or prescription medication are involved, impaired driving puts everyone at risk.

Law Enforcement will be working throughout the holiday weekend to promote occupant safety and remove impaired drivers from our roadways.

✔️ Wear your seatbelt
✔️ Designate a sober driver
✔️ Slow down and stay alert
✔️ Arrive alive

Let’s honor the memory of our fallen heroes by protecting one another and making safety a priority this Memorial Day weekend.
