It is with great sadness we share that K-9 Kodi has answered his final call and has crossed over the rainbow bridge. Kodi suffered from an unforeseen medical condition that lead him into congestive heart failure which began to affect his respiratory system. Today we said goodbye. Please keep Officer Vaughan in your thoughts and prayers as this is an especially difficult time for her. Thank you to the Durham County Sheriff's Office for the honorable es**rt, Bahama Veterinary Medical Center for your compassion and professionalism, Granville County Telecommunicatons for the heartfelt final call, and the members of Oxford PD, Granville County Sheriff’s Office, Creedmoor PD, and Oxford Fire Dept. that showed up to support. 🐾🐕‍🦺🖤❤️💙🤎🖤

The Recreational Advisory Committee, along with the Parks and Recreation Director, advises the City Manager on recreational programs and makes recommendations to the City Board on recreational policies, fees, and the recreational master plan. This Committee meets as needed. All terms are served for three years and expire in January.

📢 REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ) – NOW OPEN

The City of Oxford is seeking qualified engineering and surveying firms to assist with our Lead Service Line Inventory (LSLI) Professional Services Project.

This project will help the City continue meeting state and federal drinking water requirements by supporting lead service line inventory efforts, GIS mapping, public outreach, and long-term infrastructure planning.
