We would like to thank everyone who came out today to the Senior Center and enjoyed some great ice cream with us. A special thank you to the First Selectman of Oxford for stopping by, participating, and engaging in today’s important discussion about scams targeting older adults.

We received a great deal of positive feedback and are grateful for everyone’s participation. We look forward to seeing you at our next event.

The Oxford Historical Society is taking part in the Townwide Tag Sale on Saturday, June 20 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will take place in the Munn Schoolhouse at the Twitchell-Rowland Homestead Museum, 60 Towner Lane in Oxford. Towner Lane is located off Route 67 across from St. Thomas Church.
The tag sale will feature glassware, home décor, kitchenware, small furniture, collectibles and vintage and antique items. There will be something for everyone at bargain prices.

Oxford Police Department Request for Information

The Oxford Police Department is investigating a reported larceny that occurred at Market 32 on May 19, 2026, at approximately 6:00 PM. Police are seeking to speak with the male and female shown in the released photos/video regarding the investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Oxford Police Department and reference Case #2600164546. The investigating officer is Officer Thomas Daponte.
