Big news for Oxford Public Library users! 📚🎧

Thanks to an LSTA grant through IMLS, Oxford Public Library is adding more copies of popular e-books and audiobooks available through CamelliaNet — helping reduce wait times and get great titles into readers’ hands faster.

Through CamelliaNet, library users can enjoy digital books for all ages anytime, anywhere with internet access. Features like adjustable text size and playback speed also make reading and listening more accessible for everyone.

We’re proud of the work our library continues to do to expand access, support literacy, and make learning available across our community. Be sure to check out everything Oxford Public Library has to offer!

Our first Fidget & Trinket Trade Night was such a hit that we're bringing it back! 🎉

From NeeDohs and squishies to keychains, mystery items, tiny treasures, 3D prints, and everything in between, we loved seeing so many people come together to trade, collect, and connect. The room was full of great trades, new friendships, and lots of excitement, and we can't wait to do it all again!

🇺🇸 Freedom Festival 2026 is almost here! 🇺🇸

Make plans to celebrate Independence Day with us on Saturday, July 4, at Oxford Lake Park and the Oxford Civic Center for a full day of family fun!

Enjoy a patriotic parade, carnival games and prizes, a petting zoo, food vendors, swimming, and more before ending the evening with a spectacular fireworks show that’s longer, brighter and louder in celebration of America’s 250th anniversary 🎆

Bring your family, gather your friends, and spend the Fourth of July making memories at one of Oxford's favorite summer traditions.
