My daughter and I attended, this morning, the Memorial Day Remembrance hosted by the with an especially moving story shared by Commissioner Jess Ramirez. We are all indebted to those that gave their lives so we may all be free.

This morning I received this invite to a Memorial Day Potluck in East Village, all of Oxnard is invited. It’s late enough in the day that it doesn’t conflict with other community events, and a great opportunity to connect with your community members. Hope to see some of you there!
