Your library gift shop made it into the VC Reporter's 26th Annual Best of Ventura County edition! They took 2nd place in the Gift Shop category.
To celebrate this honor, they're holding a One Day Sale,Thurs,October 13, 11-5. Find special and seasonal bargains and new merchandise.

NEW MERCHANDISE FROM THE LATEST LOS ANGELES SAMPLE SALES!

Handbags by Isabella's Journey and Sun 'n Sand, at less than half the normal retail. Various wallets, new folk art jackets, and never before seen scarves. Plus new serve ware and decorative glass.

Visit us Thursday, September 8 from 11:00 to 5:00; and Friday, September 9 from 9:00 to 3:00. The door prize drawing is at 3:00 Friday.

Friends Books & Things Gift Shop invites one and all to a One Day Sale, Thurs, August 4. Hours will be 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Be sure to sign up for the door prize, no purchase necessary.

All merchandise will be 15% off, unless marked otherwise. Featured will be new jewelry and watches from the California Gift Show in Los Angeles; close-out greeting cards; and summer-weight scarves and wood jewelry.

On Sat, May14 @ 2:00 our guest speaker will be award winning author Tanya Hanson, most recently a Favorite Author Nominee for the CAPA Awards. This free event is open to the public. Ms Hanson will be presenting a power point presentation of antique family photos that have inspired her in her writing and love of historical Western fiction. Bring a friend or two and be prepared to travel back to the old west.
