Yesterday our crews were called to a person trapped between their canoe and a rock in swift water on the Mulberry River. The person was able to keep their head above the water but couldn't free themself. The person used an iPhone with satellite capability and was able to contact Franklin County 911. The person was trapped for over 4 hours.

A big thank you to Franklin County Search and Rescue, Franklin County Sheriff Department, Game and Fish, United States Forest Service Law Enforcement, Franklin County Dispatch for answering the call and ensuring we had the resources needed for a positive outcome, and the local residents that jumped in to offer help in getting our crews to the PT and offer a hand anywhere needed.

We have an opening for a Full Time Paramedic position on our 12 hr day truck in Ozark starting in June.
