The Dale County 6U All-Stars and their coaches were recognized at the Dale County Commission meeting on July 28th. The team’s head coach, John Martin, introduced his players individually along with assistant coaches Hal Moore, Christian Chandler and Ben Baker. The team will be traveling to Laurel, Mississippi this week to participate in the Dixie Youth World Series Division ll Tournament on July 29.

The Skipperville 8U All-Stars and coaches were recognized for their outstanding season and advancement to the Dixie World Series Tournament in Laurel, MS, July 22-27. The All-Stars represented Dale County in a stellar manner, earning the 8U Sportsmanship Award, based on character, respect and positive team conduct.
The team was joined by coaches Houston Davis, Terry Jackson, Robin Logan and Trey Gammont at the July 14th meeting. The supporters of the team to include family members, friends and team volunteers filled the meeting room to capacity.

For recognition of his years of service as a member of the AgPlex Authority, Robert Dyson, was presented with a sign in his honor to hang on the newly installed barn at the arena during the July 14th meeting.
