You may need to get your hummingbird feeders ready early this year!
Cool facts about hummingbirds! Many types of hummingbirds spend the winter in Central America or Mexico, and migrate north to their breeding grounds in the southern United States and western states as early as February. And then move on to areas further north into Canada later in the spring. Bird watchers along the Gulf Coast are reporting ruby-throated hummingbirds arriving about 3 weeks earlier than usual.
That puts them in Missouri in March!
