As we head in to the summer months, outdoor activities increase, causing an increase for need in blood donors.

Join us for this friendly challenge between all of your favorite Christian County First Responders on Tuesday May 2nd.

There will be donor sites in Ozark and Nixa.

This year CBCO is also giving $10 for every successful donation back to the Christian County 100 Club!!!

At tonight’s Board of Directors meeting, we had the honor of celebrating the accomplishments and promotion of Captain Dave Masterson.

Not only was Dave selected by his peers as the 2025 Firefighter of the Year, but he also successfully earned the rank of Captain, an achievement that reflects his dedication, leadership, and commitment to the craft.

Dave’s work ethic and service embody the values of the Ozark Fire Protection District, and his impact is felt both within the organization and throughout the community we serve.

Congratulations, Captain Masterson. Your efforts bring great credit upon yourself and the Ozark Fire Protection District.

Yesterday, the OFPD Citizen’s Fire Academy kicked off its 10th annual session, a milestone we’re proud to celebrate.

A big thank you to our OFPD Citizen's Fire Academy Alumni who stepped up once again to help cater the event and support our newest class members. Your continued involvement is a true reflection of the relationships built through this program.

The Citizen’s Fire Academy is a multi-week, hands-on experience designed for community members and business owners to get an inside look at the Ozark Fire Protection District. Participants gain insight into everything from the financial challenges of operating a fire district to the day-to-day life of our firefighters, and the skills they must master to serve at a high level.

This program continues to build stronger connections between our crews and the community we proudly protect.

Stay tuned as the 2026 CFA class progresses, we’re just getting started.
