On this 15th Anniversary of the Joplin tornado, we remember the lives forever changed on that day. While the storm brought destruction, it also revealed the heart of our community.
Our CERT volunteers answered the call, stepping up for many days to assist in recovery, provide aid, and bring hope during a time of great uncertainty. Their dedication is a reminder that even in the face of tragedy, compassion and service can light the way forward. These are just a few of our volunteers who took time out to serve during these days.
We will never forget.
