SKC Student Senate SKC Student Senate serves to empower student voices and to enhance the student experience here at Salish Kootenai College.

Our Mission: We, the students of Salish Kootenai College hereafter to be known as SKC, in order to secure the benefits of an association on an effective democratic basis, provide a body for cooperation within the structure of SKC. We shall serve as communicators between students, staff, faculty, the administration, and the reservation community. We will encourage and promote high scholastic achiev

ement, more active involvement in social and extracurricular activities, and advocate for more opportunities for the student body. Lastly, we will encourage and provide opportunities for student leadership, enhance SKC Spirit where possible, and assist in the recruitment of future students. We do hereby ordain this Constitution as the elected SKC Student Senate.

Applications are open to serve on the Student Senate for the 2026-2027 academic year. We encourage all interested students to apply.

This is an amazing opportunity to gain skills in leadership, teamwork, the spirit of collaborative effort, and to serve our student body. The link to apply for any of eight seats on the SKC Student Senate is attached below. You have until Sunday, April 26th at 11:59pm to submit your application.

Join us this October for the Haunted Halloween Carnival! This is a fundraiser event for SKC Student Life.

Both the Halloween Carnival and the Haunted House run from 5pm - 9pm on Saturday, October 25th. Less scary hours for the Haunted House are from 5pm - 7pm.
