Pace Fire Rescue District

Pace Fire Rescue District In case of an emergency, dial 911 immediately! We are called to service to approximately 3,000 calls a year.

Pace Fire Rescue has been proudly serving the Pace, Pea Ridge, Floridatown, Wallace, and South Chumuckla communities and its visitors for over 60 years. We operate out of Station 1, located on Pace Patriot Blvd, it is staffed by 7 career Firefighters who are EMTs or Paramedics. We have three uncrewed outline stations that Volunteers can respond to Emergency calls with an apparatus or they can come

to our central station and respond as well. We are an ALS (Advanced Life Support) department which means when we have one of our Paramedics on scene, they can provide Advanced Life Support while waiting on an ambulance to transport. Providing these services allows us to provide the most beneficial and proactive care that we can to those in need. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns. No use of profanity or degrading remarks in comments, please.

Early this morning, one of our crews responded to a call for service within our community. While operating on scene, a citizen became aggressive and made physical contact with one of our personnel. This behavior is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.

The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office responded to assist, and one subject was subsequently arrested.

We appreciate the support and quick response of the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office. The safety of our firefighters and personnel remains a top priority, and we maintain zero tolerance for aggressive behavior toward our members.

Sincerely,
Chief Whitfield

Please join us in celebrating the 10 year anniversary of Lieutenant Nicholas Lopez! Nick started working with Pace Fire in April of 2016, and has selflessly served the citizens of Pace since. His shift took it upon themselves to get a cake made, and the photographic evidences shows the cake made the rounds through stations 1 and 3 before finally ending its journey in front of Nick and his crew at station 4. We want to extend our gratitude for his service and look forward to more years of memories!
