Join us for a special Summer Reading Program presentation with the UCSC Arboretum & Botanic Garden and learn how rare and native California plants are being preserved for future generations.

Lucy Ferneyhough, Associate Director and Native Plant Program Manager at the UCSC Arboretum, will discuss the Native Plant Seed Vault Program and other conservation efforts taking place at the Arboretum.

🔬 Participants will have the opportunity to view native seeds and plants through a microscope and learn more about the important role they play in California ecosystems.

👥 Ages 12 and up are invited to attend.
