A State Park since 1956, Asilomar State Beach and Conference Grounds is 107 acres of sandy beach, rocky coves, sand dune preserve, pine forest habitat AND a conference grounds.

Join us on September 12 at 1PM in Kiln! Paint your own 3D-printed model inspired by iconic animals found in your local parks and beaches! From sea slugs, to legless lizards, to sunfish. Join us at the main beach for Coastal Cleanup Day, California’s largest annual volunteer event! On Saturday, September 19th, come together to make the Monterey Bay a healthier place for all. 🌊🙌

Bring your own gear if you have it! Help us reduce our use of disposables by bringing work gloves, buckets, and trash grabbers. If you do not have supplies, disposable gloves and trash bags will be available.

Kinda chic to be a Stuck-Up 🙂‍↕️

From 1918 to 1935, Stuck-Up Inn housed Asilomar's beloved Stuck-Ups--the college women who worked in various hospitality roles supporting the YWCA summer camps and conferences. When designing this building, Julia Morgan had to get creative in order to meet the needs of the Stuck-Ups while keeping to the budget. Morgan created a warm and welcoming space for those women to call home.

You can learn more about how the Stuck-Ups got their name and other stories from Asilomar's early years on our weekly Origins Tours! Every Friday and Saturday at 10AM. Tours start at the Social Hall.

🚗 From 10-1, enjoy vintage cars provided by the Salinas Valley Horseless Carriage Club of America
📖 From 10-4, view a special pop-up exhibit featuring never-before-seen personal effects of architect Julia Morgan
🙌 At 10, 11, or 1, take a guided history tour of the Julia Morgan-designed buildings
💃At 12:45, join a beginner-friendly swing dance workshop provided by Cannery Row Jump
🎂 At 2, have some complimentary cake while supplies last
🎶 From 2-4, enjoy live music by Ricketts Folly
🌸 At 3, join a wildflower tour of the sand dunes

Come celebrate the past, present, and future of one of California’s most treasured state parks! Admission is free, no RSVPs needed.
