PHS Cheerleading is building momentum for an exciting season ahead! 👏

The Varsity Cheer team recently attended the NCA Skillz Camp at Lindenwood University, where they worked hard to strengthen their skills, grow as a team, and build lasting connections. All 23 cheerleaders were nominated for All-American honors, with Anna and Tori earning the distinction of being named All-Americans. They also celebrated Bella and Bailey, who received the Pin It Forward Award!

The team's first ""Beyond the Mat"" guest speaker, PHS alumni Kaylie Kaufman, also recently shared valuable insights on mindset, helping athletes prepare for success both on and off the mat.

We are proud of the hard work, commitment, and teamwork this group continues to demonstrate, and we look forward to an outstanding season ahead. 💜

Meramec Valley R-III will be closed on Friday in observance of Juneteenth. There will be no summer meals, and Summer Discovery will not be in session.

Regular district operations, summer meals, and Summer Discovery will resume on the next scheduled day.

~ Tell Me Something Good ~Norah has impressed with her ability to think critically. She consistently has demonstrated that she can read passages with far greater depth than mere DOK level 1 understanding.

Last week, our Boys Basketball Camp brought young athletes together for a week of skill development, teamwork, and fun. 🙌

Players worked hard on the court, learned from coaches and players, and made great memories along the way. Thank you to everyone who helped make it a successful week. 🏀

The Pacific High School Lady Indians Basketball Team recently spent time competing, learning, and improving their skills at the 2026 Basketball Camp! 🏀

They also welcomed our future Lady Indians to Youth Basketball Camp, where young athletes focused on building fundamentals in dribbling, passing, and shooting.

We are proud of every camper for their positive attitude, commitment to improvement, and love of the game. ❤️

Pacific High School is proud to earn promising practice recognition for 3 outstanding practices in place from Character.org

Tell Me Something Good, a schoolwide initiative that celebrates students and staff who demonstrate the school’s core values.

The Dressroom, a community-supported resource that provides professional and formal attire to students for academic events, interviews, and special occasions.

Lunch Buddies, a positive peer-to-peer relationship program where student council members eat lunch with essential skills special education students.

The Meramec Valley R-III School District and several of its schools have earned 2026 Promising Practice recognition from Character.org for initiatives that support character development, leadership, and student success! 🎉

Within MVR-III, Pacific High School earned three recognitions, Coleman Elementary School earned one National Promising Practice recognition, Zitzman Elementary School earned one recognition, and the district earned an overall recognition for its “Bridging the Future” practice.
