🚛 Trash Pickup Update

Trash pickup is running a little behind this week, but our Public Works crew is working hard to make sure everyone’s trash is picked up this week.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as they work through the delays. ❤️

If you see our guys out working, give them a wave and a big thank you! 👋 They’re working hard for our community!

🌳 Pacolet Limb Pickup Reminder!

Limb pickup is provided on Thursdays and Fridays as time permits. Crews work on a rotation, so your home may not be serviced every week.

To help us get to more homes each week, please remember:
🌿 Limbs must be cut into manageable pieces no longer than 6 feet and no more than 6 inches in diameter.
🌿 Piles should be no more than 4 feet high and placed neatly at the roadside, parallel to the street.
🌿 Keep limbs out of the street, sidewalks, gutters, and drainage areas.
🌿 No trash, construction materials, pet waste, or other debris should be mixed with the limbs.
🌿 Limb pickup is for normal yard trimming—not land clearing or tree removal.
🌿 Crews are limited to 15 minutes per residence.

🚫 Bamboo will NOT be collected due to safety concerns and damage it can cause to the wood chipper.

If you hire a contractor, the contractor is responsible for hauling away the debris.

👉 Request Limb Pickup: https://www.townofpacolet.com/public-works/ -service-request-form or call 864-474-9504.

Thank you for helping us keep Pacolet clean and allowing our crews to serve more residents! 🌳

🗑️ Pacolet Sanitation Reminder!

A few quick reminders about roll cart use:

• All trash must be bagged and placed inside a Town-issued roll cart.
• Place your cart 6 feet from the street the night before pickup—never in the street or a garbage corral.
• Keep the lid closed and bring your cart back from the street by sunset on collection day.
• Do not place bulky items, construction materials, hazardous materials, or other prohibited items in your cart or at the roadside.
• Please take care of your Town-issued cart—it is your responsibility to keep it clean and protected.

♿ Exception service is available for elderly and disabled residents who need assistance getting their cart to the curb.

For questions or additional cart requests, please contact Pacolet Town Hall during regular business hours.

Thank you for helping keep Pacolet clean! 💙
