We have ISO-Class rating of 2 with our community being served by 75 personnel divided into four divisions: administration, suppression, prevention, and training. It was an honor to have worked with VFW Paducah Post 1191 and America's Freedom Tribute last weekend. The event brought a replica memorial wall with the names of soldiers we lost in the Vietnam War. We are so grateful for the brave men and women who have served and sacrificed for our freedom.

This past weekend we held our 2026 Fire Department Ball! Chief Steve Kyle presented multiple firefighters with Fire and EMS life saving awards. He also handed out new department challenge coins and special team stickers. Be on the lookout as we highlight our firefighters and their actions with future posts. Thank you to Walker Hall for hosting our evening of food, drinks, and camaraderie!

Firefighter Nate Potter recently completed the required Recruit Training for PFD. Recruits work to obtain certifications or build on certifications already obtained. Recruits train in areas towards IFSAC Firefighter 1-2, Driver Operator/Mobile Water Supply and Hazmat Awareness/ Operations. He joins Platoon 2 today April 4th.
