I've seen firsthand how expensive childcare has become for working families.

My wife and I have lived it while raising our son and balancing work, school, and everything else that comes with everyday life here in Kentucky.

I believe supporting families means making childcare more affordable, strengthening early childhood support systems, and making sure parents aren't forced to choose between paying the bills and making sure their children have the care they need.

Strong communities start with strong families.

And Kentucky families deserve a government that focuses on giving them a fair chance not just to get ahead, but to thrive while taking care of their families.

This is the first meeeting of the McCracken County Democrats Policy/Accountabilty Comittee. This is going to be the watchdog and policy architect of the party, ensuring local government serves working families rather than corporate interests through rigorous local research and public accountability.
