PDHD staff had a blast attending today's McCracken County Read and Feed event! We will attend each Read and Feed this month from 11a.m.-1p.m., so be sure to come by and say hi! 👋

The best way to practice harm reduction that is super easy, and everyone can do it, is using stigma free language! People with a substance use disorder or mental health challenge are often stigmatized with harsh and hurtful language that is harmful. Separate the person from the disease (i.e. a person who uses _______. Or a person with ________.) Be mindful of your words- they are powerful and impactful!

It's time for Turning Point's Annual Recovery Walk, June 6, at 10 a.m. at Noble Park Paducah.
The recovery walk is all about fun, fellowship and resources for people and in support of people in recovery from a substance use disorder.
The family-friendly event features tons of food and more than 30 organizations supporting people in recovery.

Turning Point is Four Rivers Behavioral Health's Recovery Community Center. Their mission is to provide information and help with treatment options for people seeking recovery and to provide support for people in recovery after treatment.
