Page Unified School District

Page Unified School District Page is a small, community located north of Flagstaff, AZ on a high plateau between the Navajo Nation and spectacular Lake Powell near the Grand Canyon.

Page Unified School District is the only district that serves our community. Lake View Primary is a K-2 school. Desert View Intermediate is for grades 3-5 and it houses the Preschool as well. Our Middle School is 6-8 and the High School is 9-12. Since Page is located so closely to the Navajo Nation, Navajo students comprise about 75% of the student body. As a result, our schools have a unique dyna

mic that is unlike any other district. Our district utilizes the PBIS program, which stands for Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports. This system encourages those students who behave well, instead of simply disciplining those students who act out. This creates a more positive learning experience and working environment for teachers and students alike.

PUSD and Page High School wishes to recognize the Dixie’s Lower Antelope Canyon Tours Scholarship for their continued generosity and support for our amazing students. The Dixie’s Lower Antelope Canyon Tours Scholarship has supported PHS students with generous scholarships for many years. This year the recipients were Traidyn Sutherland, David Dawavendewa, Ny'Asia Walsh, Emma Mallavia, Lucynda Byrom, Emma Mallavia, Kera Nez, Talen Yellowhair, Symond Martin, Chad Young, Allie Hansen, Makyra Williams, Addison Brazell, Deivonna Daniels, Makenzie Hansen, Symond Martin, Erec Neeley, Ny'Asia Walsh, Remy Weiss, Emily Hawker, Sophia Boshane, Brydan Bennett, Tayla Franklin, Joseph Harris, Naariah Isaac, Owen Fowler, Hannah Lynn Begay, Ozlynn Begaye, Joseph Benally, Andrew Cummings, Aubrey Dodson, Owen Fowler, Tayla Franklin, Makayla Goatson, Emily Hawker, Tasha Hayden, Naariah Isaac, Traidyn Sutherland, Kamerann Tsosie and Chad Young. They each received a scholarship between $700 - $1,000.
Dixie’s Lower Antelope Canyon Tours believes in investing in the future of our community and supporting students as they pursue their goals beyond high school. These scholarships recognize students who have demonstrated dedication, involvement, perseverance, and a commitment to personal growth throughout their time at Page High School. “It is an honor for us to celebrate these outstanding students and contribute to the next chapter of their journey.”

PUSD and Page High School wishes to recognize the Steven F. Ward Scholarship for its continued generosity and support for our amazing students. The Steven F. Ward has supported PHS students with generous scholarships for many years. This year the recipients were Ny’Asia Walsh, Emily Hawker, Addison Brazell and Lucynda Byrom who each received a $2,000 scholarship.
The Steven F. Ward Memorial Scholarship honors the legacy of Steven F. Ward by recognizing students who demonstrate dedication, perseverance, character, and commitment to their future goals. These scholarships are awarded to students who reflect the values and impact that Steven Ward carried throughout his life.

The Alan Tsiniginie has supported PHS students with generous scholarships for many years. This year the recipients were Remy Weiss and Tasha Hayden who each received a $500 scholarship.
The Alan Tsiniginie Scholarship recognizes students who have demonstrated perseverance, character, and dedication throughout their high school journey. This scholarship honors students who continue to positively impact those around them through their hard work and commitment to their future goals.

This year the Canyon Club of Page - with generous financial support from John Torgenson of Torgenson Law - for giving a $2,000 scholarship to John Keisling, Hannah Begay, Ny'Asia Walsh, Remy Weiss and Lucy Byrom.
