📣 Exciting News from the Lake County Commissioners! 🐾
At the regularly scheduled meeting on October 8th, the Lake County Board of Commissioners has unanimously appointed Christian Courtwright as the new Lake County Dog Warden! Christian brings over 20 years of experience in humane law enforcement and animal control in both Texas and Ohio, most recently serving as Lead Humane Agent at the Lake Humane Society. He will officially begin his new role on October 30, 2026.
Christian will oversee daily operations at the Lake County Dog Shelter and help ensure the safety, welfare, and humane treatment of dogs throughout our community. County leadership expressed full confidence in his ability to enhance services and support residents.
Christian shared his enthusiasm, saying he’s grateful for the Commissioners' support and looks forward to getting started later this month.
Join us in welcoming Christian to his new role! 🐶💙
