We have warned this company more times than we can count. We have reached out to them to try to guide them through the process of obtaining the permit that they need. They have ignored all warnings and have not taken advantage of our assistance. So, they have received an 18month ban from door-to-door sales in Painesville Township. if you see a representative from this company in your neighborhood, usually riding a Segway, please call the Lake County sheriffs office and report them immediately.

As you drive down Mentor Avenue, you’ll likely notice the new American flags proudly displayed along the roadway.

This project was made possible through the generosity of Classic Buick GMC and Ralph Wilson (owner). Whenever our community has a need, Ralph is always willing to step up and help. He also sponsored the construction of the pavilion at Hadden Park, creating another lasting benefit for our residents.

We are fortunate to have community partners like Classic Buick GMC that continually invest in making Painesville Township a better place to live, work, and raise a family. Thank you for your ongoing support and commitment to our community.

Don't forget to help us celebrate our state-bound Riverside High School Softball and Track & Field athletes and coaches as they head into the weekend looking to make history!

We are putting these athletes and coaches on a Riverside School Bus this evening and conducting a Community-Wide State Send-Off Tour throughout the entire District.

We encourage community members to join us tonight at one of the following locations at the scheduled time to show your support for these amazing athletes and coaches as they drive by:

Riverside High School: 4:45 p.m.
Parkside Elementary: 5 p.m.
Leroy Softball Fields (Celizic Road): 5:15 p.m.
Lamuth Middle School: 5:30 p.m.
Softball fields behind iStem (directly behind the building): 5:45 p.m.

In addition, we encourage parents, family members and community members to clap the athletes out of the Riverside High School parking lot when they leave for their respective events this weekend. The Track and Field Team will depart Riverside High School for Columbus on Friday at 3 PM and the softball team will depart Riverside High School on Saturday at 10:45 AM.

Lastly, tickets for the Track & Field events (Saturday & Sunday) and the Softball game (Saturday at 3) can be purchased here: https://www.ohsaa.org/tickets

Let’s make this another weekend to remember!

A recent Gallup survey found that roughly 7 in 10 Americans are opposed to having AI data centers located near their communities.

Among those expressing concerns, many pointed to the potential strain on local infrastructure, particularly electricity and water supplies. Others cited worries about noise, environmental impacts, and the effect these facilities could have on overall quality of life.

As technology companies continue investing heavily in artificial intelligence and expanding data center construction across the country, the debate over how these projects affect local communities is becoming increasingly important.
