Spring Yard Waste Drop Off
Residents may drop off yard waste at the Service Department Monday through Friday from 7:30 am – 2:30 pm through June 5th. Residents should follow the signs to the dumping area. Yard waste must be in biodegradable paper bags and only include grass clippings, leaves, garden debris and small twigs. No large brush will be permitted. This is for residents only. No contractors or landscapers will be permitted to drop of yard waste. If you have further questions please contact the Service Department at (440) 350-3225.

State Route 608 Road Closure - Concord Township
Concord Hambden Road, east of Ravenna Road, will be closed to through traffic starting Monday, April 24, 2023 and will reopen Friday, April 28th. The detour will be Ravenna Road to Girdled Road. View the detour map below for the detour route.

Concord Township will host an in-person Q&A session at the Concord Community Center on Tuesday, April 25th from 6:30-7:30 PM regarding NOPEC (Northeast Ohio Public Energy Council.) Eligible customers, will be automatically enrolled in NOPEC’s program and do not need to take any further action to receive exclusive member pricing for home or business for 36 months beginning June 2023. Dr. John Foster of Mentor Public Library presents the first lecture in his series for 2023: the History of the US Supreme Court as told through the stories of important justices. The rest of the series will be presented at Mentor Public Library Main location.

On Monday (1.31.22) Concord Twp. held the Groundbreaking Ceremony for FireStation #1 on Concord Hambden Rd at the existing station. The room was filled with Concord Twp Fire Department firefighters and their families along with Fire Chief, Matt Sabo; Deputy Chief, Ron Terriaco; Ret. Chiefs R Mike Warner, and Richard Terriaco; elected officials: Christopher Galloway - Lake County Auditor, Lake County Auditor Office; John Plecnik, Lake County Board of Commissioners; Paul R. Malchesky, Judge, Painesville Municipal Court; Eugene Lucci, Judge, Lake County Court of Common Pleas; Mentor Area Chamber of Commerce; Concord Twp. Trustees: Carl Dondorfer - Concord Twp Trustee; Amy Lucci, Concord Township Trustee; Morgan R. McIntosh; Fiscal Officer, Amy Zielonka Dawson & Administrator, Andrew Rose. We would like to thank our elected officials for their support and are honored that they could attend. After some words by Chief Sabo and others, the attendees walked across the road to break the ground with the golden shovels! The ceremony closed with the passing of the shovels to Pinnacle Construction to officially begin the project.
