March is Women’s History Month, and at Omoogun we are proud to celebrate the strength, resilience, and brilliance of women everywhere. Empowering women isn’t just a message for us, it’s a commitment we live out through action.

As part of this commitment, Omoogun recently donated a wet and dry food grinder to a hardworking mother and grandmother who have been striving to support their family. With this equipment, they can now process and produce food products more efficiently, turning their skills into a sustainable source of income.

When women are empowered, families thrive and communities grow stronger. This Women’s History Month, we celebrate the power of investing in women and the impact it creates. 💜

Omoogun is happy to announce some exciting updates! In addition to providing tuition assistance to our scholars, part of our mission is to improve the health and well being of everyday Nigerian’s through community projects. Over this past month, our President, Dr. James Ogundele, recently took a trip back to Nigeria to connect with our network on the ground. During the visit, we were able to:

🎯 Connect with Omoogun Scholars both past and present

🎯 Launch our “Clean Water”Initiative, a project that will start with the donation and construction of a new borehole at the Baptist Day School in Ila

🎯 Network with local leaders for possible future community work projects in the area
