A wonderful night with NWSC PTA hearing what all the D15 PTAs accomplished this year!!Mrs. Di Rienzo was acknowledged for being WCE PTA's biggest cheerleader, leading the way for all students and families to stay informed about all of our events and helping us make sure everyone feels welcome and included! Liz Thomas was acknowledged as an incredible volunteer, paving the path for us to get an all-inclusive Gaga ball pit for our students and community all while continuing to volunteer and help plan our events. Remember the snake at Literacy Night?!? That was thanks to Liz!! Proud to be a WCE Eagle!!

¡Una noche maravillosa con la PTA de NWSC, escuchando todo lo que las distintas PTA del Distrito 15 han logrado este año! La Sra. Di Rienzo recibió un reconocimiento por ser la mayor entusiasta de la PTA de WCE, guiando el camino para que todos los estudiantes y familias se mantengan informados sobre nuestros eventos, ¡y ayudándonos a asegurar que todos se sientan bienvenidos e incluidos! Liz Thomas fue reconocida como una voluntaria increíble, al allanar el camino para que pudiéramos conseguir una cancha de Gaga ball totalmente inclusiva para nuestros estudiantes y la comunidad; todo ello mientras continuaba ofreciendo su voluntariado y ayudando a planificar nuestros eventos. ¿Recuerdan la serpiente de la Noche de la Alfabetización? ¡¡Eso fue gracias a Liz!! ¡¡Orgullosos de ser Águilas de WCE!!

Field Day was a lot of fun last week!! PTA provided wristbands to coordinate with everyone's assigned color, volunteers & staff helped lead the activities planned by Mr. St. Joseph, students brought their "A game" and big smiles!!

¡¡El día de campo de la semana pasada fue muy divertido!! La PTA repartió pulseras a juego con el color asignado a cada uno, los voluntarios y el personal ayudaron a dirigir las actividades organizadas por el Sr. St. Joseph, y los alumnos dieron lo mejor de sí mismos y lucieron grandes sonrisas.

In addition to the other wonderful performances at the volunteer appreciation breakfast earlier this week, the 3rd graders surprised us with this incredible "Thank You, PTA" song!! 🥲 Special thanks to Ms. Fierro and Ms. Montante!!

A huge thank you to Winston Campus Elementary for the amazing volunteer breakfast! We are so grateful for the time, effort, and kindness that went into making everyone feel appreciated.

It takes a strong community coming together to make a real difference, and today was a wonderful reminder of the power of connection, support, and gratitude. Thank you.

If you give the staff a sweet treat and breakfast, they'll be fueled for the day!! Cookies, conchas and caffeine, oh my! We appreciate all the cookies purchased by families and special thanks to Village Inn for donating eggs and bacon!

Congratulations to Ms. Carlstrom!! Her guess of 97 items in the supply bin was only one more than the actual amount!

Thanks to all of your help, Winston Campus Dual Language teachers and staff felt the extra love and appreciation all week!
