It's time for us to come together and stand up against the blatant corruption overtaking our elected officials, the ultra wealthy, and the business leaders of the world.

Individually we are hopeless, but together we are unstoppable. We are the majority, we are the ones who make the world go round, and we are the ones holding the cards. We just have to come together to use them.

A state grand jury confirmed that $10 million from a Medicaid settlement meant for low-income healthcare was diverted into the Hope Florida Foundation, then funneled directly into political action committees and party coffers.

This was money meant to help low-income families with basic medical needs. Instead, it went to Republican-led Super PACs created to combat the citizen-led ballot initiative to legalize recreational cannabis.

This is unacceptable conduct from our elected officials. We must demand real accountability from everyone involved in this scheme to undermine the will of Floridians.

That accountability starts at the ballot box on Tuesday, November 3, our vote is our voice, so lets show up and make sure they hear us loud and clear

The bottom line is everyone deserves quality healthcare, and the American people deserve their tax dollars to be spent efficiently, not wasted on giving even more money and power to the 1 percent. Not adopting universal healthcare is like taking a trillion dollars and lighting it on fire.

It's time to bring the next generation of leadership to Putnam County!

Back in 2019, Putnam Community Medical Center (now HCA Florida Putnam Hospital) announced it was ending maternity services. Families here have had to travel out of county to give birth ever since. That was six years ago.

Last month, the hospital's Diagnostic Imaging Center closed too, ending mammography and bone density (DEXA) screening. To be clear, the hospital still offers CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, ultrasound and X-ray on-site. But mammograms and bone density scans now mean going to one of two providers offered as alternatives. Between them, no single provider takes every plan. Depending on your insurance, you may only have one real option, and for some plans, neither is a sure thing. For families already stretched thin, that gap can mean the difference between getting screened and going without.

This isn't just a rough patch. It's a pattern, and Putnam isn't unique in facing it. And for folks without reliable transportation, especially in our rural communities, even getting to those two providers isn't always simple.

Local organizations have already been stepping up to fill these gaps as best they can. They deserve real backing, not just a thank-you.

Our county is growing, and our healthcare access should be growing right along with it.

We need more healthcare providers here in Putnam. We need real transportation solutions so people can actually get to care. And we need to back the organizations already doing this work on the ground.

I want to be that voice on the commission, the one fighting for the healthcare and transportation our families deserve.

Lets Make Putnam Counties Spaces Beautiful and Top Notch for Everyone!!! We are the greatest country on earth and its time for the communities of working class American who make it the greatest get their fair share. Everyone in this country should have access to top notch services and infrastructure.

Johnson Community Park and Florahome Community Park both have restrooms with no running water and no lighting after dark. Families use these parks every week. Kids play ball, folks walk their dogs, people show up for community events, and when they need to use the restroom, there's no reliable way to wash their hands, and no light to see by once the sun goes down.

The composting-toilet approach makes sense environmentally, and I wouldn't change that. What needs fixing is everything around it. Johnson has since gotten a simple handwashing station, a step forward, but a jug-fed basin isn't the same as running water, and it doesn't touch the lighting problem. I'd push for a water fountain at Johnson that can do double duty: a place for families to get a drink while also feeding a proper sink. Florahome has neither yet, and a resident there recently reached out to the Board about it directly.

This is basic public health and basic safety, and it's fixable. Every district has discretionary funding set aside for exactly this kind of need: real, everyday issues that matter to residents. If elected, I'd direct discretionary funding toward getting both parks a proper handwashing solution and real lighting. West Putnam has gone overlooked for too long, and this is the kind of fix that shouldn't have to wait.
